Mounted in a small compartment in the right sponson of the Combat Vehicle (CV) 90, the GBI APU provides the necessary battery charging capability.
The unit uses a small, light weight water-cooled diesel engine and a 100 amp C.E.N. Brushless Alternator that is belt driven.
The Control Panel is remotely located.
